Diploma Unit 3: Team Spaghetti Bridges

Ben Carrington was our leader, but he was not giving enough information to us and thus, a lot of people then decided to not do anything, at the start, he gave out jobs to everyone:

  • Gary, Chris, Tom – Research
  • Will, Liam, Loretta, Emily – Design
  • Tim, Ryan, Tyler, Ben, Will – Construction
  • Tyler – Cleaner
  • Tyler, (Ben) – Team Motivator

These jobs did not last though, for most jobs were being switched every few minutes, and it all went wrong when we tested the bridge, and it ended up less strong than the previous design. Even the presentation made for this group was completely ignored.

Once the half-way point of the allotted time to design/construct had come, Ben rounded up all of the constructors and then there was nothing for anyone else to do,

Activity 3.2!?

Hello peoples of the internet.

I am currently racing towards being hated on the internet; I am currently IP Banned on two invisionfree forums both for similar reasons. I am known for saying
‘Does it even matter? Do I care?’
I am in a state of both writer’s block and artist’s block: I don’t have any inspiration to do any writing or artwork.
Spriting is a process of editing/starting from scratch frames of animation for games or for other usage, for example, making a Pokemon in JUS Style for a Flash animation.

Most IT Literate people do these on a daily/regular basis:
Visiting/Posting on Websites
Posting Blog entries
Send/Receiving e-Mails
Sending/Receiving Texts
There are still some forms of Non-Electronic Communication, Including:
Newspapers, Magazines and Comics
Reports
Posters
Leaflets, Brochures and Flyers
Letters, Novels and Text Books.
There are also forms of voice media:
Telephone/Mobile Conversations
Talking Face to Face
Radio Transmissions
Podcasts
Advertisements added onto music programs like Spotify

Activity 3.5

Newspaper Report:

The paper I chose is The Times,
Newspapers try and aim for one specific audience and specify a certain message, this leads to how adverts are placed in Newspapers, so they can get the best result.
Companies will pay hundreds and thousands of pounds to get the placement in the Newspaper that makes the reader notice it.
Advertisements use several ways to gain the reader’s attention:
I. Bright, contrasting colours
II. Large images that support the Company
III.Slogans and Phrases
